Here you find answers to common questions about SWOZZI Swim and sportswear for durable, professional & intensive training for leisure & competitions.

How do I choose the right swimwear for my sport?
Match Style to Your Activity. The intensity of your sport dictates the level of support and coverage you need.
  • Training & Competitive Swimming: Prioritize low-drag, streamlined designs. One-pieces & sports bikini with racer-backs or Swozzi elastic cross-back straps are ideal as they allow full shoulder rotation and stay secure during turns.  The high quality Italian material enable a compression type fit.
  • High-Impact Sports (Surfing, Beach Fitness, water craft sports): Opt for high-support styles that won't shift during vigorous movement. Swozzi has adjustable straps for the women to ensure this security.  Men's selection all have drawstring waistbands.
  • Open Water & Triathlon: Visibility is critical; choose bright, funky designs, neon colors which are easily spotted.
How do I care for my swimwear?

How should I wash my swimsuit? Hand wash in cold water with a mild detergent is the gold standard. Avoid machine washing and harsh detergents, which can break down the elastic.

For drying, it is recommended to always lay it flat in the shade. Avoid using a tumble dryer as the heat can damage the elastic. Additionally, do not hang it in direct sunlight to prevent color fading.

What should I avoid? Avoid sitting on abrasive surfaces (like concrete pool edges) which can snag the fabric. Also, apply sunscreen 15 minutes before putting on your suit to prevent oil stains and fabric deterioration.

Always rinse your swimwear in clean water, or wash with a mild detergent after every use.

Dry your swimwear in the shade as the damaging rays of the sun will deteriorate the fabric quicker. Don't leave your swimwear rolled in a wet towel all day and expect it to live a long life!

Avoid excessive chlorine as high degrees of any chemical will result in bleaching of the colour and will destroy the fabric and garment stitching.

Avoid regular spas as the combination of heat and chlorine will deteriorate your swimwear more rapidly.

Avoid contact with sunscreens, perfume, deodorant, tanning products and excessive perspiration. These can all cause staining and age your swimwear. The oils in these products can deteriorate elastic so ensure you rinse your swimwear thoroughly after use.

Remove any trapped sand by gently running your fingernail over your swimwear.

Do not iron or tumble dry your swimwear.

If your swimwear has a drawcord pull the cords together to tighten rather than away from each other, otherwise you may rip the drawcord holes.

How long does it take to produce a Made-to-Order item?

Each made-to-order item is crafted upon request, allowing us to focus on quality and customization. Typical production times range from 4-6 weeks, depending on the level of customization and the order’s size. We ensure each piece is meticulously made, so our clients receive the highest quality in sustainable swimwear.

Can each item be customized with my own logo?

Yes, we offer custom logo options for brands looking to incorporate their identity into the swimwear. Whether you need embroidered logos, custom labels, or other branding touches, our team works closely with you to ensure your logo aligns seamlessly with the garment’s design, enhancing your brand’s visibility and uniqueness.

How do I know my size?

How do I find my size? For one-piece suits, use a measuring tape to find your torso loop (from the shoulder, through the crotch, and back to the shoulder). For bikinis, refer to specific brand size charts as they can vary significantly.

What is I am in-between sizes?

Should I size up or down? If you are between sizes, many brands recommend sizing down for a snug fit, as swimwear fabric often expands slightly when wet. This is also the case for SWOZZI swimwear, as a smaller fit will also reduce drag in the water and you will not risk loosing your swimwear while doing active sports and training.

Do Swozzi swimwear provide muscle compression?

Swozzi swimwear uses quality Italian fabric and the swimwear cut is shaped to provide support and structured muscle compression to help reduce drag and offer support during competitive or serious training sessions.

What are the environmental benefits of on-demand production?

On-demand production provides significant environmental benefits by eliminating overproduction, which reduces textile and manufacturing waste, lowers carbon emissions from transportation, and minimizes the need for energy-intensive warehousing. By producing items only after a confirmed order, we save on raw materials, energy, and water usage, contributing to a more sustainable, circular economy
